Guitar Hero V(mobile): Rockin' Out on your phone has never been so...

Guitar Hero V(mobile)

Okay, new blog whole new set of fun... and by fun I mean starving orphans in kenya (in kenya, we have lions...)

Okay so the main jist of Guitar Hero mobile is the same as any other Guitar Hero game. Hit the buttons when the hit the line and you get points. Get enough streaks and you get more points and the person with the most points gets to brag about how well the used a plastic guitar.

A few things have changed since GH2, mostly due to this being a phone version. There are only two buttons and those without the ridiculously large buttons may notice their bear mitts are too big to hit notes with one hand.  In play, you are aloud to pick between Guitar, Bass and Drums to get more points on each song. So that you don't get through it and wonder where that 4 bucks you just spent went. The songs are farely decent, starting you off with 3 Doors Down, and Sublime as well as a few others that I am not familiar with. Sound quality will most likely differ from user to user so I won't mention it. For the song length I was somewhat disapointed, the songs are usualy only a minute long and allow you to get into it, then watch as you stumble around due to your own personal velocity as you stop abruptly. The controls are confusing and unless you luckily get a loading message that tells you specifically how to do anything other than the obvious, you will have to do the dreaded gamer taboo, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!!!

All in all it's enjoyable, and as long as you don't have anything else going on in the room, it is crankable. The songs are decent and the achievments have a good variety. The final verdict is a that this is a worthy app to obtain, but not to keep. I put this game as a:
